Joe Francis – Director

Joe was born and brought up in the UK and came to settle in India in 2011. Business was his ambition and film-making his passion so Ultraviolet Films was a natural outcome. Prior to starting out as an entrepreneur he had a successful corporate career with major companies such as BT and Wipro working with a large number of major clients such as Apple, Texas Instruments, Symantec, BP, Halliburton, National Grid, Avid as well as many others.
Ultraviolet Films was founded with the intention of bringing distinctive and compelling video content to businesses in India and abroad. Joe trained in film making in London and Oxford, UK. He also holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Leeds, UK and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, India.

Chacko Philip – Technical Advisor

Chacko has around a decade of of experience in the VFX industry in multiple roles. He has remarkable breadth of experience in post-production workflows with a truly enviable list of credits to his name in Hollywood movies including Man of Steel, Life of Pi, Wrath of the Titans, Prometheus and Sherlock Holmes : Game of Shadows. Currently working out of Mumbai as a lead VFX artist, Chacko is well placed to advise Ultraviolet Films on the best practices, workflows and hardware / software requirements for professional quality production.
